Avery Park MA, LMHC

Avery is a third-year doctoral student at the University of Washington School of Nursing and supports the Parent-Child Assistance Program (PCAP) as their Research Coordinator. She purposely crossed disciplines from Psychology (with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy and Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health) to Nursing Science in hopes of supporting the relational neurodevelopment of the whole child (prenatal through age five) and the whole caregiver within the context of their whole community by reunifying the mind, the body, and their community as an interconnected system.

In her work, she focuses on building and strengthening relationships across teams and disciplines to ensure that we keep in mind young children and caregivers we serve and support in our work.
