Brain Maturation in Adults with FASD

Very little is known about adult consequences of prenatal alcohol exposure. The goal of this project is to evaluate the protracted effects of prenatal alcohol exposure on the brain by performing MRIs and comparing them to MRIs taken 30 years ago on the same research subjects. Knowledge gained from this project will improve our understanding of this critical age group, and allow us to better anticipate outcomes in adults with fetal alcohol spectrum disorders.
