Methamphetamine and cocaine can have serious health effects, but there are steps people can take support their health when they’re using.
ADAI’s Center for Community-Engaged Drug Education, Epidemiology & Research (CEDEER) has released a new handout, Stimulants and Health: Support for people who use cocaine and methamphetamine, that offers information on:
- Safer use tips
- Actions to improve health
- Treatment/use reduction options
An accompanying interactive guide is designed for care teams to use when reviewing the Stimulants and Health education handout.
The guide includes more details and practical tips about how to engage people who use stimulants in conversations about their health.
