Addictions, Drug & Alcohol Institute

Community Advisory Board

The work of our node is informed by the voices of representatives from agencies across our region who work directly with people experiencing substance use disorders. Our Community Advisory Board (CAB) began in July 2023 with eight community members. This group informs research decisions at the node and guides dissemination planning.

CAB Vision: Elevating community perspectives to improve the lives of people harmed by substance use
CAB Mission: To bring together community organizations, people with lived experience and researchers to power innovation and discovery in addiction treatment through research, dissemination, and knowledge sharing
CAB Purpose: To foster collaborations across academic and community organizations to improve the lives of people harmed by substance use
