ADAI Lunch & Learn: Community Engaged Research with People Who Use Drugs: Lessons Learned from the READU Team (March 14, 12pm PT)
Join ADAI and presenters Jenna van Draanen, PhD, MPH and Courtney Wetterman (both of the UW School of Nursing) for our next virtual Lunch & Learn, March 14, 2023, 12-1pm PT.
This presentation will cover principles and methods of community-engaged research, using an example from our research team of people with lived and living experience of drug use (the Research with Expert Advisors on Drug Use –or READU- team). The presentation will include instruction on community-engaged knowledge dissemination including how to prepare a knowledge translation plan for disseminating research results, discussions about who needs (and deserves) to know about research findings, and examples of creative community-engaged dissemination strategies.
