The UW Addictions, Drug & Alcohol Institute (ADAI) is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant (50% FTE) to help support operations that contribute to our mission to advance research, policy, and practice in order to improve the lives of people and communities affected by alcohol and drug use and addiction.
Reporting to the ADAI Director and faculty leadership, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting the daily operations and timely execution of administrative functions for the Institute. The position provides administrative support for ADAI’s multidisciplinary staff, research scientists, faculty, and programs, contributing to the University of Washington School of Medicine’s nationally recognized research, education, and outreach mission within the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.
In this role, you’ll help support:
- The ADAI Clearinghouse (a free resource center for Washington State)
- ADAI’s Small Grants program
- Event and meeting logistics
- General administrative activities (email/mail management, print/copy and shipping, data entry, etc.)
- And more!
Pay range: 50% of $45,144-$58,632/year
Minimum requirements: High School/GED AND two years of office or administrative support experience, though equivalent education and/or experience may substitute.
