Introduction to Substance Use Disorder: Assessment and Treatment (Sept 19 & 26, 5-7pm) – CME available!
08/13/2023This two-part series will be geared to providers who are new or would like an update on helping people with the spectrum of both alcohol and opioid use problems.
The training will count for four of the eight hours of SUD training now mandated for all providers by the DEA. Focusing on practical and evidence-based approaches to screening, diagnosing, and initiating treatment for people with both alcohol and opioid use disorders. By the end of the series, learners will have the foundation to start treating this population of patients and be in a position to build more advanced clinical skills.

The University of Washington School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 4 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. (Each session is 2.0 credits)
Who should attend: This series is for providers who are new or would like an update on helping people with the spectrum of both alcohol and opioid use problems. Any providers in Washington State or supporting clinicians are welcome to join.
