URGENT: King County is seeking staff with behavioral health training to staff the COVID-19 isolation and quarantine facilities. Currently, two locations are being set up: One in Kent and another in North Seattle, with additional locations likely.

These are facilities for people who have symptoms of COVID-19 and have been tested by the EDs but the test results have not come back yet, or for individuals recovering and needing a safe place to stay.

Term Limited Temporary (TLT) job postings are now available. Find out how to apply here.

This position will be part of a 24 hour onsite multidisciplinary team that offers support to guests and each other.  Behavioral health support staff will be asked to provide de-escalation and crisis intervention support for guests who experience a behavioral health event. The goal is to support the comfort of the guest and to promote their remaining in quarantine for the time necessary to obtain test negative results and/or complete the isolation period. The majority of these interventions will be completed telephonically.
