On January 7, 2026 (12-1pm PT), the State Opioid Response (SOR) team hosted the second installment of their What’s the Latest? series, a quarterly webinar series addressing innovative approaches related to medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD).
This session highlighted the Opioid Recovery Care Access (ORCA) Center—a 24/7, judgment-free space for recovery after overdose, MOUD initiation, and stabilization.

- Michael R. Sayre, MD, Medical Director, Seattle Fire Department; Professor of Emergency Medicine, University of Washington
Don’t miss the next What’s the Latest? installment, which will provide an even more in-depth look at the ORCA Center, the care it provides, its person-centered approach, and how the team works together to deliver timely, compassionate support to the community. Register for that session, February 10, 2026 (12-1pm PT) here.
