Join Us Feb 5 (5:30pm PT) for Our ADAI Research Open House!

Calling all undergraduate students (and others) who are interested in pursuing a career in substance use and addiction research!

Join ADAI’s centers, staff, and faculty on February 5, 2025 (5:30-7pm PT) for a virtual ADAI Research Open House where, in addition to sharing overviews of their work, each ADAI center will talk about different research opportunities and career paths related to substance use and substance use disorder to help inspire and inform students thinking about following a career path in our field. At the end of the session, each center will host an interactive break-out room guests can join to ask questions and learn more!

Topics discussed at this event will include:

• Cannabis research and policy work
• Drug trends/epidemiology (opioids, stimulants, etc.) and drug checking
• Community-engaged research
• Clinical trials related to substance use/addiction
• Fetal alcohol and drug exposure science
• Neurobiology of addiction
• Research dissemination
