Dear Washington State residents:

Marijuana continues to be the most commonly used illicit drug. Moreover, marijuana policy is increasingly being debated here in Washington and elsewhere in the country.

This new site on the Alcohol & Drug Abuse Institute’s web site is intended to serve the Washington public by providing up-to-date science-based information about marijuana.

As we inaugurate this site, we are grateful to our colleagues at Australia’s National Cannabis Prevention and Information Centre for permitting us to include their Factsheets.

Over time these Factsheets will be updated and added to by University of Washington scientists. For more information about this site, please click on the About This Site tab.
