Webinar: Implications of Cannabis Legalization for Quitlines (March 2, 11am)

In this webinar from the North American Quitline Consortium, ADAI Research Scientists Beatriz Carlini, PhD, MPH and Gillian Schauer, PhD, MPH, along with Michael Tynan from the CDC, will discuss the implications of cannabis legalization for quitlines. A panel of presenters will share an overview of the current cannabis landscape. The webinar will also highlight ways that tobacco control and cannabis regulatory staff can coordinate activities.

Objectives: By the end of the webinar, participants will:

• Understand the state and federal landscape for cannabis policy
• Learn about cessation needs and services for cannabis
• Hear ideas on appropriate ways for state tobacco control and cessation staff and cannabis regulatory staff to stay informed and coordinate activities
