Chelsea Kimura MSW, LMSW, CSWA

Chelsea Kimura, MSW, is a training and technical assistance specialist at the Northwest Addiction Technology Transfer Center (ATTC). Chelsea supports the ATTC by leading the targeted technical assistance team and coordinating targeted TA services across HHS Region 10. She has a notable commitment to promoting health and well-being among Indigenous communities. Chelsea previously worked with a private consulting firm to support the Opioid Response Networks Indigenous Communities Response Team technical assistance initiatives and provide TA services to Tribal Opioid Response grantees in the Northwest region. She helped develop and facilitate a national webinar series in partnership with the ORN and SAMHSA: ORN TOR Webinars. She has also supported the work of the Lenape Center in New York City by serving as a liaison for their Missing and Murdered Indigenous Peoples working group from 2020-2024. Chelsea has a background in direct service and has worked in both primary care settings and hospital systems.

She is interested in the promotion of health equity for all, cancer and chronic disease prevention, community-based interventions, and holistic mental health care. Chelsea earned her MSW from Columbia University, with a focus on contemporary social issues and criminal justice, and subsequent LMSW licensure in New York State. Chelsea also holds a CSWA license in the state of Oregon.
