The Bree Collaborative and UW Addictions, Drug & Alcohol Institute hosted a webinar, Pathways to Connection: Accessing Treatment for Opioid Use Disorder Across Washington State, on October 14, 2025.
This webinar explored how individuals across Washington State access treatment for opioid use disorder (OUD), with a focus on the implementation of medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD) in a variety of care settings.
Through a panel presentation featuring speakers from different access points, including street medicine, outpatient care, and emergency care, viewers will gain insights into:
- Successes, challenges, and opportunities in implementing MOUD across the state
- How individuals access care, from first contact through ongoing treatment
- The importance of care transitions and coordination between systems
- Statewide resources and tools available to support OUD treatment and recovery
This session is ideal for clinicians, healthcare professionals, health plans, case managers, community-based organizations, and anyone interested in improving connections to care for individuals with substance use needs in Washington State.
