The goal of this event is to welcome a new generation of addiction professionals and encourage young people from diverse communities to consider this field. The UW Addictions, Drug & Alcohol Institute (ADAI), Center for the Study of Health and Risk Behaviors (CSHRB), Center of Excellence in Neurobiology of Addiction, Pain, and Emotion (NAPE Center), and the Harm Reduction Research & Treatment Center (HaRRT Center) will share presentations giving a broad overview of the addiction field and specific job opportunities. There will also be time for small group discussions and Q&A.
