Elan Green MSW

Elan Green (he/him) is a Research Coordinator for the Center for Novel Therapeutics in Addiction Psychiatry (NTAP). He earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Washington. Elan brings a wealth of experience in harm reduction and addiction research. His professional focus is on the integration of psychedelic medicine with treatments for addiction and PTSD.

Activities

Outside of work, Elan is passionate about music; he has been playing cello since age 4 and is a singer and songwriter. He is obsessed with cooking, especially the fusion of Southeast Asian cuisine (Vietnamese, Lao, Thai) with French technique. He is also a software engineer, focusing on developing innovative technical solutions for addiction treatment, harm reduction, and improving access to care.
