ADAI Research Professor Caleb Banta-Green, PhD, MPH, MSW, recently presented with Samantha Carroll (Spokane Regional Health District Syringe Services Coordinator) at the February 2026 Spokane Regional Opioid Task Force meeting.
Their presentation, “Drugs Trends, Use Patterns & Service Utilization and Needs in Spokane County and Washington State,” included information about different types of data and Spokane County and statewide data related to:
- drug checking
- treatment data
- non-fatal overdoses seen in the emergency department
- fatal overdoses
They ended the session with preliminary client data from ADAI’s 2025 Syringe Services Program survey (for more results from this survey, don’t miss our upcoming ADAI Lunch & Learn on March 26, 2026 (12-1pm PT)!).
