Basic Description
This one-hour, interactive, self-paced course developed by the Northwest ATTC is designed to equip peer support specialists, recovery coaches, care navigators, and other outreach workers with information, resources, and practical tips to help them better understand and support people who use opioids.
The course features four modules:
- Role of Peers in Recovery
- Opioids and the Brain
- Treatment Options
- Supporting Those Using Opioids (community engagement & naloxone)
Learn about effective treatment options and strategies for using person-centered care to engage people with opioid use disorder in their path to recovery.
1 CEU is available upon completion of this training ($5 processing fee for CEU).
