The Pacific Northwest Node joined the National Drug Abuse Treatment Clinical Trials Network in January 2001, with the goal of forging partnerships to improve the quality of drug abuse treatment in our region and throughout the nation. The PNW Node is a collaboration among researchers at the University of Washington Alcohol and Drug Abuse Institute and Washington State University, and affiliated community partners in Washington and Alaska.
