Featured speakers included Michael Botticelli, director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP), and former KIRO-TV reporter and Evening Magazine host Penny LeGate, who offered "A Parent's Perspective," describing the death of her teenage daughter, Marah Williams, from an opioid overdose in 2012.
